The ale was good. \u00c2\u00a0It&#8217;s actually an ale with balanced pumpkin pie flavor and not just a nutmeg\u00c2\u00a0bomb. \u00c2\u00a0I\u00c2\u00a0thoroughly enjoyed it, but I&#8217;m going to need find at least one nutmeg bomb before the season is over.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Details:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>ABV: 7.0 IBU: 28<\/p>\n<p>Appearance: \u00c2\u00a0It would be clich\u00c3\u00a9\u00c2\u00a0to say that it has a pumpkin color&#8211;and somewhat untrue as it has an\u00c2\u00a0orangish rust color.<\/p>\n<p>Smell: \u00c2\u00a0Nutmeg, pumpkin pie, and\u00c2\u00a0molasses. \u00c2\u00a0It&#8217;s smells like a kitchen the morning after baking a pumpkin pie&#8211;a lot of light balanced smells.<\/p>\n<p>Taste: \u00c2\u00a0To be sure, the flagship flavor is nutmeg, but it doesn&#8217;t dominate the drink as with most other pumpkin beers.
